Dynamic Traffic Assignment
Selecting Metro Cebu City as a case study, including 389 zones as study area, this study aims to evaluate Dynamic Traffic Assignment (DTA) considering the departure time and route choice based on logit model. Compared to the Static Traffic Assessment , DTA models is a much more realistic traffic flow model. DTA is best applied when the input data are known with high certainty, only a few scenarios are needed, and detailed congestion and queueing information are critical. However, the tranditinonal approach could not consider and evaluate the influence of the departure time for the DTA . This study follows Stochastic User Equilibrium (SUE) theory to simulate the DTA model, which makes DTA models be a much more realistic traffic flow model.
